The first step we do in Shredded Academy is calculate each client's TDEE (total daily energy expenditure), which is determined from the information provided after joining our program.
This is why our clients get EXACTLY number of calories required to achieve their goals. We also include the correct macronutrient breakdown of protein, carbohydrates for every meal.
Every single Shredded Academy client answers key questions which allows us to calculate each client’s TDEE. (we use a very unique formula created at SA, and we believe it to be the most accurate in estimating someone's TDEE.)
After a client’s estimated TDEE is calculated, we then build a full meal plan where their caloric intake is in a deficit (-500 below TDEE) or in a surplus (+500 above TDEE). Ultimately, this is dependent on each of our client’s goals, whether they want to gain mass and build muscle or cut down and get shredded. Once the number of calories are calculated (which is personalized to each and every client), they are then split into the exact macronutrient breakdown of protein, carbohydrates and fats.
